Megan and Codey met years ago in Los Angeles and have loved spending their time together ever since. Their wedding was originally scheduled for the beginning of April 2020, but they had to make the tough choice of canceling due to the onset of COVID. Having already spent years apart due to work, they decided not to wait a moment longer and throw together a last minute elopement at Chapel Dulcinea - a serene outdoor chapel remotely nestled in the hill country just outside of Austin, Texas. Megan decided to do away with her original wedding dress since it wasn't a great fit for the 100 degree Texas heat. She went with a vintage-inspired, romantic dress  embroidered with floral accents from Revolve, Badgley Mischka floral heeled booties, and a stunning headpiece from BHLDN to complete the look. Codey kept it sleek and simple, wearing all black head to toe from Express, ditching his corsage at the last minute. The vibe was very relaxed, the couple getting ready in the same room and walking hand in hand together towards the chapel. The ceremony was serene, emotive, and unbelievably personal. The evening was spent at Jennifer's Gardens - a stunning property located by Shoal Creek in Central Austin. They cut their personal wedding cake together in the garden, and enjoyed restaurant delivery and sake to close out the evening.

From Megan and Cody
“All that we needed were the essentials and photos to remember the day. There were still a few headaches even eloping during COVID-19, but we love our wedding and we love our photos. We love how it all worked out and we wouldn't trade it.”
